- Online computer system monitoring of controller operation, and thanks to that operation of the units,
- Taking automatic actions by the system in specific situations, and following the preset algorithms,
- Supporting the work of the personnel monitoring operation of the system by making it possible to accept or reject the solutions proposed by the system (predefined), considering the events taking place within the system,
- Recording absolutely all events taking place within the system in the database, and in particular actions taken by the operators,
- Proving access to the resources of the controlled facility for the users having valid ID cards, according to individually specified authorizations,
- Making the remote control of the subsystems possible exclusively for the operators with valid authorizations and ID cards,
- Making operation of the subsystems possible in autonomous mode (sabotage of one subsystem has no effect on the operation of others), and at the same time ensuring full communication between them (action within one subsystem initiates action of the other),
- Ensuring continuous self-diagnostics of the subsystems and generating system malfunctioning messages, and developing the system distributing them to the operators, and to the outside users,
- Providing the system of definable messages on alarm events and the system distributing them both directly to the operators, and to the persons directly connected with the system, by employing external devices e.g.: mobile phone, fax, e-mail etc.,
- Capability of full integration of the system with other systems and with technical security units installed in the facility, e.g.: alarm, fire-fighting, CCTV system, by defining specific messages and SAMS reaction to the events taking place within the system, and invoking specific reactions of these systems e.g. by the operator,
- Extendibility of the SAMS by adding successive subsystems designed based on other special detectors, analyzers, controllers etc.
