1.What are used Interphone and Sound Systems (ISS) for?

The basic task of Interphone and Sound Systems (PDF material to download) is provision of voice communication between the operator and each room with the option of full control by the operator, if communication is performed between third parties. These systems include the following systems:

  • interphone system – provides communication between the operator and each room with the option of connecting of phone calls coming outside (or ordered from rooms) into interphone panels. In case of phone calls the operator can relisten to course of a call (and disconnect it), and in case of use of external telephone exchange the operator can enter a call.
  • sound system - is used to distribute audio signals (radio, tape recorder etc.) to each room to wire broadcasting system panels. The system makes it also possible to distribute messages transmitted as preferential from microphone station (the message is audible on the panel regardless of local setting of loudness level).
  • voice communication system for non-contact visit rooms – is used for phone communication between two visiting persons and one visited person. The important system feature is constant supervision over duration and course of a call by the operator (with the option of entering to a call „as the third person” and the option of interrupting or blocking of a call at any moment).

Both in the interphone system as in the communication system in visit rooms it is possible to connect external loudspeaking set and tape recorders to have performed calls recorded.

2.Simplicity of construction and assembly.

The construction rule of Interphone and Sound Systems (ISS) is the same as the construction rule accepted earlier in Integrated Management Systems (IMS), i.e.: construction of system is performed by connecting of local master controllers, and afterwards of call panels, cross modules and other equipment to the proper communication, interphone and sound system buses. System supply can be local or central depending on conditions and requirements of user. System controllers are assembled in a module way in enclosures of OB-SZxx type, and all devices of the local system are assembled in practical electric switchgears. Such subject approach makes it possible to connect each IMS subsystem not only within the framework of applied switchgears but also enclosures for controller boards. If it is not possible to apply switchgears, OB-MTxx and OB-TW3M assembly enclosures shall be applied.

3.Construction and surface of panels

Interphone and sound system panels manufactured by us are made from steel sheet and are embedded „under plaster”, and their frontal plates from polished acidproof steel are riveted or screwed down to enclosure depending on application (requirements, assembly durability). All applied sockets and buttons are of vandalproof type which furthermore decreases risk of mechanical damage. The risk is also decreased if button panels are applied in the system.
