1.What is Passages Control System?

Passages Control System (PDF material to download) is the system of simple construction and service which basic task is monitoring and remote management of passages. The system operator makes passage available (opens passage) after receipt of signal of passage request and visual verification (by CCTV system cameras) of person or situation. Moreover, PCS can be equipped with interphone subsystem which performs one of two following tasks according to configuration:

• supports passage requests by voice communication,
• serves as standard interphone system between the operator and rooms regardless of PCS operation.

2.How does Passages Control System operate?

Operation of Passages Control System is practically based upon service of system exchange on which all following information necessary for the operator are legibly presented (by LED diodes):

• all requests coming to the system,
• currently served requests,
• state of passages (open or closed),
• condition of interphone or telephone connections (in case of application of AC-MDSP10 interphone module) etc.

Basing on these information and data coming from other subsystems the operator makes a decision about the method of service of a given request, i.e. the operator opens door remotely or refuses access.

Moreover, the operator can independently control the following subsystems by exchange:

• CCTV inspection television subsystem by use of EB-MWA16 modules – exchange automatically switches camera view when first request comes and after a request is served in case of another request in a queue. Furthermore, the operator can manually switch camera view by exchange keyboard.
• Interphone subsystem, if exchange is equipped with an extra interphone module of AC-MDSP10.
