The small dimensions make it possible to mount the deactivator conveniently (e.g. under the counter).
The device comes in two types:

double-antenna MS-DA8202
Deactivators are used in the event that the checkout counters are situated in close proximity to each other or where there is a double cash desk. This is a cost-cutting solution as it eliminates the need to purchase another device. The deactivators are conventionally equipped with a locking and a set of keys to turn the mechanism on and off as well as to ensure that no unauthorised person attempts to make use of it.
